I love magazines almost as much as I love you

One of the BIGGEST wastes of money is buying magazines from the newsstand month after month. A magazine subscription offers huge savings, when you think of the content you get, all year, for usually about $1-$2 an issue, as opposed to $5 a la carte (roughly a $50 annual savings, at least).

Consider it the gift that keeps on giving: get your sister a Forever21 top with a year of Lucky magazines, a new New Yorker a spare MetroCard and The New Yorker, Teen Vogue for the conflicted chick turning 30, or the newlywed new homeowner a monthly Martha fix along with the cheapest thing on her registry.

And if it’s for yourself, it’s always fun to get mail!
