O may my heart’s truth
Still be sung
On this high hill in a year’s turning.
– Dylan Thomas
April is National Poetry Month, and today is poem in your pocket day! In a world that’s loaded with dirtballs and douchebags, we’ve still got lots of saints and poets roaming around, so we’re OK.
Bloomberg got in the spirit and wrote a poem! He’s cute.
If you’re stumped and/or poor when it comes to gift-giving, poetry is a lifesaver. If you visit the Academy of American Poets website and troll around, you can find a verse for anyone in your life, slap it on a card and voila! You’re cemented on their bliss list for at least a week.
