Courage = Beauty

This is a great collection of photographs that changed the world via kottke. It reinforced my belief that women and firefighters are probably the world’s bravest people out there.

We (especially writers) use so many words, and create wonderful works of art to convey beauty. However, I think it’s the unspoken human spirit shining through in these moving images that personifies beauty and gives us that power to keep creating it.
